One of the most versatile immortals in the game, can make a difference in basically any march, and it one of the best defensive immortals in the game. In this guide we are going to learn how to obtain Charles, how you can obtain his fragments, good teams for Charles, and good skills.

How to Obtain

Charles can be obtained in two ways, one is the immortal promotion in new servers, where every new player has the opportunity to purchase Charles for the first couple weeks. After he leaves the shop, he will only appear once again one month afterwards, in the "Epic Return" event. His bundle will cost around $100, and you can only purchase one of the immortals in the epic return, which will happen once every month. Once you have Charles, you can only obtain his fragments with gems in the market, or you can buy the Immortal Glory bundle that will become available for you in the shop after you summon him, after Charles reaches 6 stars of development, the Immortal Glory pack won't be available anymore for players to purchase.

Charles' Ability

Terra Shield will create a shield for all your units in the battlefield, and it absorbs up to 400% absorbing rate. Your Shield absorption will be 150% increased for the initial 6 seconds. This ability makes Charles the gold standard for sustain team, specially Earth and Holy, because his shield will buy time for your healer to top your health, and keep your damage dealers strong to demolish your opponents.

Good Skills

Charles is a very defensive immortal, and a tanker in the front line, to support his role as a tanker, you need to obtain the appropriate skills that will enable him to operate in his full potential. Aura skills are always great for supporting immortals, one of the best for a heavily defensive team is Misleading, which will reduce the Accuracy Rate of all your enemy units by up to 20%. Another great Aura for Charles is Malice, which will reduces the Critical Rate of all enemy by up to 20%. If you want to assure the survivability of your Charles, you can also utilize Fighting Master, which will make him immune to any type of Control, and on top of that it will also reduce all the damage received by up to 15% in battles. You can also utilize defensive graces, such as Oaken Guard, which will reduce the physical damage received by 3 random allied units by up to 50% for 18 seconds.
