tycoon points

Why is the total of points i have in resources tycoon different from point total on points reward for tycoon. If i had missed out on super rewards bc of that it would have been infuriating. Is that another trick you use to cheat people. It was bad enough that half the ways listed to get points in tycoon did not grant points the 2 resources that are supposed to give double points did not give double points
