More benefits, more surprises
Howdy IK community, today I will start this new series that will cover prominent immortals in mixed marches, and how to make them the most effective force in your army!
Genghis Khan is one of the most powerful Immortals in infinity kingdom, his element is lightning, and his ability has great synergy with Taranis, the Lightning Dragon. His ability, Arrow Storm will inflict up to 440% damage to all enemies at level 8, and also cause Wounded, which will nullify any healing received by his opponents for a duration of 10 seconds.
Taranis third ability, Ghostly Drumming, will increase your immortals critical value and dodge value by up to 30%, and will give a buff of up to 3% damage to every lightning immortal, stacking up to 5 times, for each negative effect that your opponent's immortals have. Arrow of Storm works hand-in-hand with Ghostly Drumming, adding a negative effect, that stops the opponent from healing, and increasing the damage dealt by your team.
Although Genghis Khan has the best synergy with Taranis, he can be a force to be reckoned with, even in combination with dragons of other elements. There are two main marches that he works very well with, one is water, and the other is fire. Today we will take a closer look in the different ways that Khan can contribute to a fire team, and why he is such a powerful force in this element.
The first important point is that the Fire element has some of the highest burst damage potential in the game. Ignatius has three abilities:
- Flaming Breath: causes up to 804,000 true damage in single hit to all enemy immortals, and inflict them with Burn, causing 321,000 damage twice in 12 seconds.
- Intense Roar: has up to 90% chance to increase the critical damage of up to 3 units by 50% for 12 seconds.
- Furinkazan: will increase the critical value and the dodge value of your immortals by up to 30%. For fire immortals, they will gain up to 10% bonus damage when they gain a buff.
Flaming Breath alone causes a total damage of up to 1,446,000 to each enemy immortal, this is already a very significant amount, and with Khan's first casting of Arrow of Storm, the opponent won't be able to recover from this damage loss. Khan also further adds to the area of effect damage, that afflicts all enemy immortals. Add all that damage with Empress Wu's astonishing powerful Imperial Fire ability, and Wound, which won't allow your opponent to heal any damage that you are causing, this series of combined attacks will spell doom for your opponent.
There are two ways in which you can build your Khan on fire march, one in which he will have an utility role, and he will be equipped with Adrenaline Rush, which will provide enough energy for more frequent applications of Wound, and two grace buffs. Another way he will be a damage dealer, and he will either have Anger or Duel Master.
If you decide to build your Khan to be a supporting immortal, there are two Graces specially good for his team:
- Rage Blessing: increases the energy regeneration speed of three random immortals by 50% for 12 seconds of battle. This Grace is particularly good for fire team and Khan because you want for your immortals to cast before your opponent’s immortals, so the Wound effect is applied to your opponent before he can cast any type of healing.
- War Blessing: increases the damage of all your troops by 25% for the first 12 seconds of battle. This will further add to your initial burst, which will put your opponent into an unrecoverable position.
Even in a utility capacity, Khan will have a considerable damage output from Arrow Storm alone:
If you decide to use Khan in an offensive capacity, you can use Anger, which will increase his Arrow Storm's damage output considerably. In this report I'm using Anger, Chaotic Blade and Death Breath, and a damage output of 10m in 35 seconds is generated.
Khan's flexibility allows him for many combinations, such as offensive auras like:
- Coercion: reduces the dodge rate of all enemy units by up to 20%. This will considerably increase the chance of a successful attack from your each of your immortals.
- Weakness: reduces the resilience rate of all your opponent units by up to 20%. This aura is especially good in combination with fire team because fire immortals have good critical, and William I ability increases your team critical, if your opponent has critical resistance reduced, this is a formula for success.
These are the most important points that you will need to know when adding Khan to your Fire team. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below and I will do my best to help you. Happy holidays ;)
