Gilded Club brings a VIP Pass, repeatable bounties, a Fortune Wheel and its own reward shop. There are useful rewards inside, but the event has already raised questions about grinding, gambling mechanics and how much of its best content is realistically accessible.

Introduction
Introduced with Patch 3.0.0, Gilded Club is a seven-day event combining several familiar systems into one package: a 30-level VIP Pass, repeatable combat missions through Max Bounty, a casino-style Fortune Wheel and a dedicated Gallery where Tycoon Coins can be exchanged for rewards.
On paper, there is quite a lot to do. In practice, the first reactions from the community have been far more divided. Players have questioned the heavy focus on spending, the very high cost of the best Gallery rewards, the repetitive nature of Max Bounty and, perhaps most importantly, the decision to make the Fortune Wheel consume the same Tycoon Coins used for guaranteed purchases.
That does not mean everything inside Gilded Club is poor value. The VIP Pass is relatively inexpensive, Max Bounty provides meaningful free rewards, and several Gallery items remain accessible without chasing the most expensive prizes.
So rather than judging the event only by its presentation, this guide looks at what each activity actually offers, where the value is, and where some of the criticism comes from.
1. VIP Pass
The VIP Pass is probably the most straightforward part of Gilded Club. It contains 30 levels, with progression earned through simple daily objectives such as training troops, defeating Gnomes and completing normal gameplay activities.
The free track provides resources and 300 Tycoon Coins, while the $4.99 premium track adds Gems, resource chests and 450 Amethysts. Since 50 Amethysts can be exchanged for 100 Tycoon Coins, those 450 Amethysts can represent up to 900 additional Tycoon Coins if fully converted.
For players who already complete their daily activities, the pass does not require much extra effort, which makes it one of the easiest parts of the event to complete. The main decision is simply whether the premium track is worth buying, especially if your goal is to build enough currency for the Gallery rather than spend it on the Fortune Wheel.

2. Max Bounty
Max Bounty is the main free-to-play progression system inside Gilded Club. It offers six combat missions that refresh every hour, with stronger encounters giving better rewards and alliance rallies available for tougher targets.
Completing the missions earns Bounty Points toward a milestone track, with the full progression requiring around 260 points. The rewards include Gems and Tycoon Coins, making Max Bounty one of the most important ways to build event currency without spending.
The downside is the cost behind those rewards. Missions consume AP and can cause significant troop losses, especially when repeatedly pushing higher-difficulty encounters. Since the quests refresh every hour, the system can also become quite demanding if you are trying to maximize every cycle.
For most players, the sensible approach is to complete as much as possible without turning the event into a constant drain on troops and healing resources.

3. Fortune Wheel
The Fortune Wheel is the most controversial part of Gilded Club because it uses the same Tycoon Coins needed for guaranteed Gallery purchases.
Each spin costs 10 Tycoon Coins, with higher multipliers increasing both the wager and the reward. The listed probabilities give roughly a 28.55% chance of receiving Tycoon Coins back, and the estimated average return is about 8.98 coins for every 10 spent before considering non-coin rewards and the Gold Rush discount.

The Energy system does not improve your odds. Once full, it simply gives a 10% discount on the next spin, after which the meter resets. The wheel also awards ranking points, so it still has value for players chasing leaderboard rewards or additional materials.
But if your main objective is a guaranteed item from the Private Treasure Gallery, the trade-off is clear: every spin puts part of that purchasing power at risk.

4. Private Treasure Gallery
The Private Treasure Gallery is where Tycoon Coins become guaranteed value. Instead of gambling them on the Fortune Wheel, players can exchange them directly for specific rewards.
The more accessible options include materials such as Stardust and Crimson Moonlight, while the premium end of the shop becomes dramatically more expensive. Some of the top rewards reach 34,000 Tycoon Coins, which puts them far beyond what most free-to-play players or low spenders can realistically earn during a single event.

That creates a very clear split in the Gallery. The lower-cost rewards can be sensible targets, while the most expensive items feel designed for very heavy spenders or players entering the event with previously accumulated currency.
For most players, the Gallery is where planning matters most: decide what you actually want first, then avoid spending Tycoon Coins elsewhere unless you are comfortable giving up that guaranteed progress.
5. Who Is Gilded Club Really For?
Gilded Club offers something for every spending level, but the experience changes significantly depending on how much you are willing to invest.
For free-to-play players, the strongest value comes from completing Max Bounty, progressing the free VIP Pass and saving Tycoon Coins for reachable Gallery rewards. For low spenders, the $4.99 premium pass is probably the most efficient entry point because the Amethysts can be converted into additional Tycoon Coins without committing to expensive bundles.
The event becomes much less accessible at the top end. Rewards priced at 34,000 Tycoon Coins are clearly aimed at heavy spenders, and reaching them within a single seven-day event requires spending far beyond what most players will consider reasonable.
That does not make Gilded Club completely paywalled, but it does mean the event is divided into two very different experiences: accessible progression at the lower end, and extremely expensive chase rewards at the top.

Maël’s Opinion
Gilded Club is not completely bad, but I understand why the reaction has been so negative.
The VIP Pass is fair, Max Bounty gives free players a real way to earn Tycoon Coins, and the Private Treasure Gallery contains some useful guaranteed rewards. Those parts are easy to defend.
The problem is how everything is packaged together. The event mixes a paid pass, repeated hourly farming, a gambling mechanic, ranking competition and extremely expensive top-end rewards, all inside the same seven-day window. The Fortune Wheel is the part I like least, mainly because it consumes the exact currency players need for guaranteed Gallery purchases. If you are trying to save for a specific reward, gambling that currency simply does not feel very attractive.
I also think the 34,000 Tycoon Coin rewards are priced far too high for the majority of players. Having premium goals is normal, but when the gap between ordinary participation and the showcase rewards becomes this large, the event starts feeling more like a spending showcase than a celebration everyone can meaningfully progress through.
That said, I would not ignore Gilded Club completely. There is still value here if you stay disciplined: complete the free activities, consider the inexpensive pass if you spend, choose a realistic Gallery target and be very careful with the Fortune Wheel.
For me, the issue is not that Gilded Club offers nothing. It is that the best way to play it may be to avoid one of its main features, and that says quite a lot about the event’s current design.
