My first day impression of the current AOW

To start off I really like the 2-tier system for registration, just like I suggested 4 or so months ago. Worked great for us. This appeared to be the most balanced AOW I have been in so far.

We all play GOT constantly improving our accounts, upgrading commanders, going for higher level troops, getting castle skins, march skins, advisors, troop skins, etc. in order to become stronger for when it is time for battle, we can do the best we can,

Now here we are in AOW, a chance to prove ourselves on what we have accomplished so far in developing our armies with no loss of any of our troops.

AOW looked really good to me this time until I saw this.

In My opinion this is so stupid. A 14-day event (better than 21) and I cannot just go war against our opponents without upgrading with a bunch of unnecessary crap in order to compete that is useless after AOW is over.

Take into consideration how many things we will be doing in the next 14 days. Do we really need more to do? Do the developers think they can add all kinds of stuff and we will all have 20 hours a day to play?

I wish for once the developers would stop thinking we need an endless number of things to do just to play war. That screenshot above is a deterrent for me personally to want to even play AOW. I upgrade daily in GOT to be able to compete and have fun in events like AOW where your army has a chance to prove itself. Now it is just about who can upgrade the most in AOW to be the strongest.

In my opinion that dumbass junk (see screenshot above) just makes me want to stay clear of AOW. I have time to play but have no desire or time to upgrade IN the AOW event.

I went from WOW this AOW looks good and fair to WOW I am not spending time upgrading my army during an event in an event in order to compete.

Was that junk always in AOW and I just never noticed?

Why can we not just battle with our armies in AOW as they are? We all work on our armies to make them the best we can no need to upgrade them in an event. Now we will have no idea how good our armies are.

SMH Just let us battle with what we have that we spend a lot of time on to make our armies the best we can or keep complicating everything and then wonder why players just quit playing.

I really thought this AOW would be fun, grab some villages, have some battles to see how my armies do and now fuck that shit!!!!!

Maybe the developers can add some research for us to do for AOW? Just like Alliance Conquest and Siege of Winterfell so even less people want to play in AOW just like the other 2.
