Welcome lords and ladies to another chronicle about GoT WiC! This weekend, the Ancient Gods provided us with another Kingdom versus Kingdom (KvK). New rewards were added! Would that be enough to motivate the players? Since we are in the middle of the Alliance Conquest season, many would not risk the lives of their troops openly. Luckily, an additional reason might encourage more effective participation! This would be a KvK with almost no deaths! Blessed by the Lord of Light, 80% of the troops would be revived after the event!! So, I hoped that this would liven up the event a bit...
Living in my alliance's home kingdom, I decided to look for an easier kingdom to compete in the event. Otherwise, I would certainly have to face maximized whales from BDR, Rod, or similar. Since my desire was to fight, I wouldn't find it fun to be decimated in a few hits by Jaqen, Brienne, and company.
So, I was observing some promising kingdoms, taking into account the number of TPs for the jump, absence of whales, etc. On one of these occasions, I saw from afar a castle in K203 with 1.7B without bubbles. I smiled at such an opportunity. I had previously spent a few days in that kingdom, belonging to the Uws alliance, and I knew that numerous bubbles frequently fell. I quickly jumped to the side of the castle and sent scouts to spy on the enemy defenses.

The castle of [Uws] Lord EYESPY was defended by 15M troops! I smiled at the thought of the amount of merit that could be drained. But there was a drawback. The enemy used battle equipment, and focused on bows, it contained more than 6M of t4 of this type of troop. Recognizing my limitations, a solo attack would be reckless and bloody for me. Therefore, I chose to send a raven to a friend: Lord Agammenon.
Hey Aga, another target has appeared in K203! But we'll need to do a rally - I said.
"Great!" - he replied - "Can you hide your troops?"
"No! You'll have to lead the rally while I reinforce you from the shadows." - I replied.
Despite attempts to reduce my power by killing my troops in the CCS, I was still relatively fat. I would have to be cautious. In k203 there were some accounts that could seriously hit me. Although Uws had previously shown no resistance, I didn't want to risk it! Besides, there's always the possibility of a larger account appearing in the kingdom as well, and the hunter becoming the hunted.

The fog gradually dissipated, and the wind brought back old memories from when I visited K203 before. Without waiting, I donned my war armor—the same armor that already bore scars from past battles. Even after spying on the castle, no bubbles appeared! Lord EYESPY remained asleep! We positioned ourselves strategically. While my friend Lord Agamemnon landed in KL, hiding his surplus troops, I kept my distance. When the rally began, I quickly reinforced it to keep my location concealed. The five minutes of waiting before launching the attack passed slowly. The alarm inside the Uws should have already sounded! Would there be an attempt to protect the target member of such an offensive? A small castle tried to spy on Lord Agamemnon's defenses, but realized it was empty. No attempt by the Uws emerged...
Our attack advanced mercilessly. Lord Agamemnon's cavalry with a synergy of weakness. The collision between our troops and the enemy soldiers echoed through the valley. Victory came, but at the expected cost - we lost a significant number of T4 soldiers, while millions of enemy flesh shield soldiers bled at the castle gates. A good start — but not enough to satisfy both sides' thirst for combat.

"Excellent…" murmured Agamemnon.
"Let's hit him again! After another rally, we'll be able to hit him directly with solo attacks."
And so, we prepared to launch the second attack! But just as our expectations were nearing their peak for this new challenge, the enemy froze! That feeling was replaced by frustration.
Determined, we still enjoyed the opportunity! Almost instantly after the fight ended, I received a raven from one of the UWS officers!
"Do you have a problem with us?" he asked.
"No! This is just Game of Thrones! You either play, or you die!"
So, I bid farewell to the kingdom! And I followed the road towards K261 - the kingdom chosen to fight in during the Kvk.
There, a fine snow fell upon the kingdom. The almost silent cold seemed to envelop the walls like a cloak of steel. I surveyed the landscape in search of new targets. I scoured every inch of the vast land of Westeros. And I smiled, observing some unprotected castles... the purge prior to the Knights of the Westeros War would begin immediately.

And without showing any mercy, I decimated Ash Jay and MKW's troops. Their resources would have been extremely valuable during the KvK for healing my troops.
Before the Ancient Gods revealed which kingdom would be the opposing one, I did what I always do: meticulous preparation. I swapped out every piece of my equipment. I activated buffs, aligned my formations. In the Hall of Faces, the last prisoner awaited his fate. Execution would guarantee the necessary bonus—and I never waste advantages.
It was time to await the verdict of the old gods. The red light shone minutes later: KvK: K261 versus k420
I teleported into the shadows of the enemy kingdom. The region was quiet—too quiet. Few castles, no movement. Did this kind of scenario mean there were predators lurking? I saw some accounts that seemed experienced: a HOH player and others belonging to Bol.

I found my first target shortly after: a small, unprotected castle. The scouts confirmed everything—poor formation, weak troops, no active buffs. I attacked immediately. The walls crumbled in seconds, and I took the enemy lord to my dungeon. A small victory… but insufficient. My thirst for combat grew.
When an announcement rang out across the kingdom, I saw that a not-so-small enemy castle had taken control of KL. Without hesitation, perhaps recklessly, without even spying on which troops were defending the great city, I launched my attack.

After capturing the lord, the enemy retreated.
But not so fast; his companion remained unprotected near KL. I launched another merciless attack, and my troops devastated the enemy castle.

After these two attacks, silence reigned throughout the kingdom.

Hours passed, and the kingdom remained silent. There were still many battles to be fought, and so I gathered my troops during the early morning hours.
At sunrise, new opportunities arose... a small enemy farm occupied KL. Quickly, I regained control.
But this time there was a greater danger. I could feel it in the air. Using this small account, the enemy sent a march with the lord. After the defeat, their lord was in my dungeon, and thus he would be able to track my coordinates...

Obviously, I was prepared for such a strategy. Quickly, I freed the lord, teleported to another location, and sought to provoke my opponent. I intended to destabilize him and gain an advantage.

Once again, I seized control of KL, and once again the enemy used such a strategy to locate me. But now, he would find my castle fully garrisoned, with my lord leading the defense. That's when the alarm sounded. A red alert. Perhaps out of overconfidence, [BoL] Lord DokPea teleported to the side of my castle and launched his attack against me.
He also used infantry with a bleeding synergy. But with a few minor differences between us. In my case, I had Kevin in my formation, whose damage reduction ability is essential in such synergy.
My infantry waited in silence—shields raised, swords drawn, eyes fixed on the enemy emerging from the other side. They too came in close formation. Shields straight, advancing with synchronized steps, as if they were a single creature made of steel and discipline. Just the brutal confrontation between men facing each other eye to eye. The air seemed to hold its breath. The ground trembled under the weight of both armies. And then, the clash happened. The impact was so powerful I felt it in my bones.
But for a fraction of a second, I saw the exact moment: the breaking of the enemy line. My infantry advanced like a wave. The enemy line gave way. First a small breach, then a larger one, and the enemy soldiers faltered before my defense. A spectacular victory, and the enemy lord was imprisoned in my dungeon.

He quickly fled the scene to avoid being counter-attacked. I then assessed the situation. I could free his lord and try to track him down quickly. But if I teleported to a nearby position, he would recover his lord and have all the advantages during the defense.
I then decided to send a raven. My friend Lord Agamemnon was also in the same kingdom, albeit AFK, and could reach him while his lord slowly traversed the lands of Westeros...
But the response was slow in coming. He remained offline, and I longed for another fight – already impatient. The enemy was in turmoil, but soon he might boil over. I decided to take a risk.
I freed the enemy lord, and luckily for me, he was less than 150 km from my castle.
I acted before he realized what was happening. From a distance, I launched my attack. Without considering any consequences, I sent a full army of T4 troops. My troops struck him before his lord could actually help defend him. The clash was devastating for both of us – especially for me. In a few seconds, it was all over. The fog was filled with dust, blood, and scattered bodies. The battlefield, once silent, was now just a sea of groans, gasping breaths, and the distant sound of drums fading away. I stood there, breathing the heavy air, watching my men raise their banners.
Another battle won. Another scar etched into the earth.

These victories allowed me to reach the top spot in the event's ranking, and in the end, the victory in this KvK was sealed. As the KvK ended, I gazed at the dark horizon of my kingdom and took a deep breath. Another battle completed. Another month of waiting until the next confrontation.
