💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Table of Contents

  • Illusion Battlefield
  • KvK Legendary Season
  • Other Patch 2.8.9 Notes
  • Summary

💠Illusion Battlefield

IB runs every two weeks with a mix of rematches, fresh pairings, and closely matched alliance clashes. This format uses each player’s own marches, skills, and academy research, so fights feel slower because relocations take longer. A lot of players still skip the Working Hard military talent, which cuts relocation time by 20%. That talent is a real difference maker and should be standard in this mode.

This round featured several standout matches:

  • Server 73’s ARC beat Server 38’s AoW in a rematch after ARC beat them just two weeks prior.
  • Server 231’s IMPK rolled on and defeated Server 136’s MIAU to win two in a row.
  • Server M014’s VT beat Server 243’s KoV in a back-and-forth battle.
  • Server 14’s ZOO overcame a numbers deficit and defeated Server M005’s JLA.

💠KvK Legendary Season

The Legendary Season “Legion of Frostborne” introduces a Professional Contract System that assigns Lords to one of three roles: Master Craftsman, Alchemist, or Fighting Master. Each role has its own talent tree powered by Contract Crystals and adds clear responsibilities that strengthen alliance coordination. Cities and checkpoints now reveal an Energy Core after defenses fall, and only alliance-built Altar Stones can damage it. Altar Stones are produced with Craftsman materials, constructed by Alchemists, operate for a limited time, follow a set attack priority, and can only be removed by enemy Altar Stones. Unit Boost Items provide limited-use, season-only stat bonuses and are distributed daily with warehouse overflow rules. Contracts are selected during preparation, lock when war begins, have quotas, and reward progress with Contract Gold for the season shop and permanent Contract Gems from the battle pass.

💠Other Patch 2.8.9 Notes

This update adds Medusa, a Chaos ranged archer whose Gaze of Silence deals periodic physical damage, cleanses herself, attempts to petrify all enemies, and applies Mark of Revenge, extended by her Twin Serpent Bracelet. A new legendary aura, Divine Blessing, reduces ultimate skill damage to all allies. Major optimizations include a revised Specialization unlock schedule, temporary closure of Throne of the Supreme, Elemental Domain simulation challenges and boss damage leaderboards, updated Legion’s Vendor and Contract Shop rules tied to participation and server migration, improved Elemental Bond auto flip, an option to remove individual talent points, daily voucher spend reminders, standard access to Legendary Season after Conquest P5+, and a new command power calculation for migration based on top players’ averages. Balance changes significantly improve Forge gold conversion, especially before level 50.

💠Summary

This round of IB highlights include ARC>AoW, IMPK>MIAU, VT>KoV, and ZOO>JLA. Legendary Season adds Professional Contracts, Energy Cores with Altar Stones, Unit Boost Items, and rewards via Crystals, Gold, and Gems. Patch 2.8.9 adds Medusa, Divine Blessing, event and shop tweaks, a new migration power formula, and better Forge gold conversion before level 50.
