As the Winter is slowly but surely approaching Westeros, the Season 4 of Arena of Honor is approaching its end quite quickly. For [N0X]Shado, the first 8 rounds were quite bad in terms of ranking but on the round 9 he finally found a good team and managed to get his first win of the season and for the round 10 he's looking to get the same result so he keeps slim chances of getting to the Glory King rank, but for now he needs a win to get to King and unlock more rewards in the Arena of Honor shop. He used the 2 weeks between the rounds to keep adapting his strategy and the gameplay to his new team, smelt more valyrian steel weapons for his troops and even managed to go and finish a quest that gave his dragons a new skill to use in battle. The time flew by, and it was already Sunday evening, so he took his most trusted commanders, his dragons and troops and head towards Arena of Honor battlefield and once he arrived there he met with the team and signed the pre-registration papers required for the team captain to register the team. Quickly after, the team got registered and then everyone waited patiently for the Old Gods to do their matchmaking.

As the matchmaking only needs a few minutes, it was done very quickly and now the battlefield doors opened for everyone to step inside and see for which house they will fight this round and most importantly against whom. Shado's team was chosen by House Targaryen for this fight and once the picks were locked in everyone headed towards their house Clan Castles, with the team heading thru dessert towards the South-West part of the battlefield where the House Targaryen's Clan Castle is located. Once they arrived there, everyone set their camps, and last-minute strategies were put in place.
As mostly always, Shado sent a few scouts across the battlefield to see what the other houses are up to and boy oh boy they were up to big things this round. The battlefield was stacked with very strong teams including most likely the strongest team across Westeros fighting for House Lannister, a strong [HOH] team fighting for House Greyjoy and a strong [RoD] team fighting for House Stark.

With that in mind, the team's strategy had to be quickly adapted to the battlefield situation and new plans were quickly made and put in place, just in time as the horn announcing the start of the battle was heard all over the battlefield and the time for fighting started with everyone heading towards their strongholds to occupy them as quickly as possible.
Once the strongholds got occupied it was time for the construction to start, and the team decided to go with Trading Posts and fight for a 2nd place while still trying to get the City of Glory and win if possible. The construction of strongholds was done just in time as the altars were starting to open and the team needed as many as possible if there was for them to get a good placement on this round, but the question was, how do you even fight for altars in such a packed battlefield?

The answer to the question came quite quickly and it was rallies and reinforcing the teams' strongest members. While doing his absolute best to keep them reinforced and join the rallies, Shado also took the decision to keep scouting the altars in hopes that he'll find warriors that he can solo out and it didn't take much time for him to find a possible target and despite the target being cavalry he decided to give 'it a go and see how it ends up.

Fortunately for him, his attack was quick and swift and managed to kick the enemy out despite being countered. There was no time for celebration though as there was fighting all over the battlefield and his team-mates were in dire need of reinforcements.

The fighting for altars was going great for the team but, as they approached the middle of the fight, it was time for the most important building, City of Glory, to drop the bubble and open for attacks.
As expected, the House Lannister took lead, with ImperialRock kicking the neutral NPCs out with a swift solo attack. and he quickly got reinforced by his team. Despite knowing there's not much chance into defeating them, every house sent their strongest rally leads to challenge ImperialRock to a fight. Daenerys sent Arthurion and Lady Arthena in the battlefield and their rallies quickly got reinforced by the rest of team members and in a matter of minutes they were marching towards the City of Glory together with rallies from the other houses. Once they arrived there, they noticed the impressive force that Lannister's had massed into defending the city. A fight of epic proportions took place on the vale where the City of Glory was located, with millions and millions of troops fighting on each side, sounds of the valyrian steel weapons clashing could be heard all over the battlefield and troops were falling quickly on both sides, turning the snow around the city in bright red. Despite ImperialRock's superior strength, the troop numbers were not in his favor and every rally managed to chip a bit of the troops there, but his team was also on point with the reinforcements so the fight for the city continued for minutes after minutes with no side willing to give up. Ultimately the raw strength emerged victorious over the numbers and the House Lannister managed to fully occupy the City of Glory with just a few minutes left from the round.

Despite not being able to win, the team did an excellent job on such a stacked battlefield and managed to secure a well-deserved 2nd place, that got them 20 fame points and a lot of rewards. For Shado the 20 fame points helped him achieve the King's rank finally and now he's able to head towards his main goal of the season, the Glory King. Will he be able to get there? Will the team be able to keep getting high placement in rankings? We'll all have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
