[PLAYER GUIDE] Greensight System (Update October 2025)

This guide reflects the author’s personal experience and the game’s content as it exists at the time of writing. Future updates may alter features or introduce new content.

What are Greensights?

Greensight is a new addition to Gotwic, which gives you the possibility to get a new Skin for your Commanders. If you finish them, your Commander will look different. Outside of the visual change, each stage of each Greensight gives you passive stats and army size buffs that apply once you unlock them. 

How to unlock them?

Currently, we have 5 Greensight skins in the game. I’m sure more will follow, four of them: Robb Stark, Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, and Melisandre, you will unlock by beating the bosses in Lost Realm with your Alliance. Each Boss will give you a different number of “Glory Medal” Chests, which do include a random Greensight Medal. Once you collect 10 of one Greensight, you can unlock the Commander's Greensight. The strongest Greensights right now are Jon Snow/Petyr Balish/Cersai Lannister, which you can unlock in the Ice Dragon Invasion if you do 35.000 damage. You can also collect 10 Medals over multiple events. The two Greensights of Margery and Tyrion can currently only be unlocked with the King's Landing Merchant Guild.

How to Upgrade them?

Once you unlock a Greensight, you have to upgrade it to level 10 with Honour XP Books that you also get in Lost Realm and Ice Dragon Invasion. Also, you can get them if you finish Greensight Quests. Once a Greensight Commander reaches level 10,20,30,40,50,60, you unlock a Questline for them. 

The Quest Lines have 5 stages each with small tasks, such as Collect an amount of resources, build troops, trade with your merchant, send resources to ally members, and others. Those will give you some Diamonds and Honour XP Books as rewards. Once you finish the Questline, which also tells the story of the Commander, you can upgrade the Commander with another 40 Medals to enhance them, then you level him to 20 and do the next Questline. You can enhance the Commander four more times for 80/120/160/200, always followed by improving the level and then finishing the Questline. So all Upgrades will cost you 10/40/80/120/160/200, so 610 Medals. 

Which Stats can you get from Greensight?

The four Greensights Arya, Sansa, Melisandre, and Robb give you Enemy Base reduction up to 6, Troop attack Reduction, and Troop health up to 30% each. Arya gives you Inf Stats and Base Reduction, Sansa is Spears, Robb is Cavs, and Melisandre Bows. Jon Snow will give you Army Size up to 50k, Total Health up to 45% and Enemy Attack reduction up to 40%. Peyr Balish will give you up to 12 Total Base Health, 45% Total Health, and 40% Enemy Total Defence Reduction. Cersai will give you 12 Total Defence Base, 45% Total Attack, and Enemy Total Health reduction. Tyrion will give you 6 Total Defence Base, 30% Total Health, and 45% Enemy Infantry Attack reduction. Margery will give you 6 Total Health base, 30% Total Defenc, and 45% Enemy Cavalry Attack reduction. Notice that stats obtained from Greensight are very linear, unlike a lot of other stuff, where it's the higher you upgrade it, the more you get, for example, the Troopskins or Commanders. 

You get one Base Reduction for unlocking each enhancement. 

Other ways to unlock Greensight

Currently, you can also buy Greensight in the Black Diamonds Shop - each Commander on different days.

For example, for Arya, the first pack costs 50 BD, and as you can see, you can coupon it. 6 Base reduction is kinda strong to have so you could speed up the process here for Commanders you want to have. Keep in mind that if you can do the 2nd boss on 2nd difficulty (and a lot can do more), you get 34 random Greensights weekly fully F2P, which means you finish all 4 after 72 weeks on average.

After learning in the first part what the term ‘Greensight’ means, how these bonuses are assigned, and presenting the first list of commanders and how they can be obtained, it’s now time to continue with the next commanders that have been added over the course of the updates.

Jamie Lannister
