How long can this go on? - Arena of Honor Season 4 Round 8

As the autumn is taking over Westeros, the days are getting shorter and nights are getting longer and colder, the Fantastic 10 team is preparing to take over Arena of Honor once again. Their progress on the first 7 rounds is amazing; they've won all of them and they are high up on the Glory rankings. Some of the rounds were easier than others, but they always facing very strong enemies on every map so for LadyKnight that means she can't ever stop doing upgrades to be stronger and stronger as, despite not being able to be as strong as ImperialRock or light Yagami, everyone in the team is required to carry his weight. The 2 weeks between rounds flew by quickly and it was already Sunday morning and time for her to get her must trusted commanders and dragons and her best troops and head towards the Arena of Honor battlefield. Once she arrived there, she met with the team, and everyone signed the pre-registration papers required for Tominy, the team captain to register the team. Once that was done, they all got a beverage and waited for the old gods to finish the matchmaking.

The matchmaking only takes about 5 minutes, so it was done quite quickly and as soon as it was done the battlefield gates opened and the houses representatives got out to pick their teams for this round. The fantastic 10 team was picked once again by Daenerys Targaryen to fight for House Targaryen, if she likes something, it must be winning the Arena of Honor rounds. After all the houses choose their teams, everyone stepped inside the battlefield and head towards their respective clan castle, so the team together with Daenerys head on the south-west forests of the battlefield and once they arrived there, everyone started deploying their camps and do last minutes preparations before the fight. LadyKnight decided to use the last few minutes of pre-fight time to send some scouts and check what the other houses are up to.

As expected, all the houses were having strong teams but 2 of them were looking very strong, House Stark with a [MDB] team led by Archon and Alan556 and House Lannister with a [GJs] team led by Biet and Xenia Borino. The fight was announcing to be very difficult for the team but ImperialRock and light Yagami together with the rest were surely up to the challenge. The time for strategies was done as the horn announcing the start of battle was heard and the strongholds started dropping their bubble so everyone on the battlefield head towards them to occupy and reinforce them as quickly as possible.

After the occupation time was done, the constructions started and Tominy decided to go once again with military camps as they worked in every round till now. Will they work once again? We'll see. The construction went very quickly as every warrior in the team send a lot of their troops to speed up things and they were done just in time as the minutes were passing quickly and the altars started opening so the fight was about to spice up. As always most of the fights for altars are done with rallies on stacked battlefield so LadyKnight did her best to reinforce when asked and join the team's rallies but beside that she always trying to fight targets she can solo, so she was sending scouts all over the battlefield in hopes she'll find warriors of equal skill.

It didn't take long for her to find To ra trying to sneak into ones of team's altars and she quickly assembled a solo to deal with it. The fight went heavily into her favor as To ra's cavalry had no chance against LadyKnight's spears, but there was no time for celebration as more and more altars were opening, and the fight was getting more and more intense. Scouts were sent all over the battlefield once again and it didn't take long for LadyKnight to fight another target she thought she'd have a chance to defeat despite her commanders being weaker than the opponent's one.

Unfortunately for LadyKnight, the target she chooses was way above her paygrade and she had to quickly admit defeat and withdraw from the altar. The fight for altars was going decently good for the team but for now everyone's focus was about to change as the round was approaching its mid and City of Glory was about to drop the protection bubble.

As mostly always, ImperialRock took up to the challenge and quickly kicked the neutral NPCs from the city with a solo attack and then everyone in the team reinforced and braced for impact. And the impact didn't let itself wait, as all the other houses started rallies to try and stop House Targaryen from winning. Archon and Alan556 for House Stark, Biet and Xenia Borino for House Lannister were among the strongest warriors on the battlefield so they're rallies were going to hurt for sure, but the rallies from the other houses weren't going to be neglected by the team for sure. Despite having more than 10 million troops under his command, the vale where the City of Glory was located was quite narrow and only like 6 million troops were able to fight at once for defenders while the attackers had room to hit with their rallies in quick sequence. Once the rallies started hitting you could hear the valyrian steel weapons clashing from far away, soldiers were giving their life on both sides and the snow around the city was quickly turning red. ImperialRock was doing a great job deflecting the rallies left and right and the other team members reinforcements were on point as always but despite that the other houses weren't looking like they going to give up anytime soon and there were even a few close calls saved by last second reinforcements. Everyone was battling fiercely and without any concern for the lost troops and the siege of City of Glory lasted for most of the remaining of the fight, but with every wave of rallies deflected the morale of the other houses was dropping lower and lower and they couldn't handle the massive loses they were taking so House Targaryen took advantage of the situation and with under 10 minutes left from the fight they managed to finally occupy the City of Glory.

Taking the City of Glory concluded the round for the Fantastic 10 team, it was another very hard but very well fought round for everyone in the team. For LadyKnight it was a double celebration, as beside celebrating yet another win and huge rewards, it was also the round where she got to the Glory King rank for the first time. She happily took the rewards and fame points and head back to the [N0X] castle, hoping the wins with the team will keep coming and she'll end up on a very high rank at the end of this season. But will she? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
