Hello everyone in yet another exciting story about Arena of Honor. Event has returned and finally i had a day off from work so had opportunity to participate in it! In this edition of AoH I have joined premade team of KJ BOOM that used to play with me in RRH and FFS. The team looked decent, and had some mid-dolphins, yet as we know, in this event I takes only one strong player to create rally, and this can win you the whole competition. Will our team be strong enough to get the glory city? Or will we be pushed to the trade camp war for Altars of Maiden? Lets see!

First teams look easy… what?

The plan was easy, reinforce the NBe dudes, DerKobol or KJ BOOM. One was Spear other was Inf so we had a bit of mixture to fight the enemies with. Once I have joined the realm obviously the first thing would be to check all the teams of our enemies. As I was looking, everything looked just fine, the teams were not as strong, and I felt excited as we could potentially go for the Glory City.

Suddenly, a whole team of Av0 has spawned in Green team, and I knew what that has to mean… they never play alone… didn’t take a minute and in the yellow team spawned the whole artillery which as impossible to fight against.

I am not too sure how does the ‘randomizer’ system always manage to match those two together in the same battlefield, however lucky for them, as there is not many players in this game which can fight against Ganicus, and looking for him to be reinforced by Astrryx, General 8 and STRAW BE, well good luck to us!

Ganicus

One of the royal few who can beat anyone in the game, player who everyone fear, even the most powerful players within the game. Person who can take down an army by himself, and so many times we have seen he has been making the change within events like AC or SoW for an alliance to become the winning one just because he has joined them because yes, Ganicus is a mercenary, which joins other clans for big event finals, for the rewards. Av0 is his home, but when it comes to the big rewrads, he usually joins big team, which used to be WxC.

Trade camps it is

The tactic has been chosen, we will go for trade camps, and look for chances in altars, thing with big teams like this, is that if we don’t mess with them, they don’t mess with us, as they are only interested in boosting their little team which was Green, and also gaining the Glory city.

The game started slowly and we managed to get all the camps in to lv3 trade camps to get maximum amount of points. Once the altars opened, the fun started. Turned out, as Green and Yellow worked together, who could’ve thought?

Anytime we would attack something, yellow would counter it, to kick us out. What a shame! Firstly we would get hit by Green to test our abilities, and if they are not able to do it… Yellow enters!

Obviously leaving it then for green to capture it, so annoying!

And trust me we did try our best, because our reinforce game was strong. We kept reinforcing DerKobold very quickly but.. lets say Ganicus is too strong for this game, and he can solo us even if we reinforce with 7 people.

The game was constant battle between us and the Green and their teammates Yellow. There was no way to mess with Yellow themselves, we had to search for points elsewhere, and try to defend against yellow hitting us.

And to be honest it was not only Ganicus which we struggled with as other members of yellow team were also very strong just Ganicus was the Thanos of the game.

Green kept fighting for points knowing they are backed up by Yellow, and we constantly made it difficult for them, which was amazing news for yellow who just fed their points on us.

All of the yellow members wanted a piece of this cake, not only Ganicus, so all started to solo us and as u can see most of them were strong enough to make some kind of damage, which after couple of soloes like that, would eventually kick us out of the building.

Rallies were also incoming, and we kept fighting as much as we could, till we had energy in our system to lift the sword, but when the great Ganicus arrived, there was nothing to brush after.

Result

We did our best even the ‘randomizer’ once again was not pleasant for us. We managed to secure 3rd place so this was still an achievement considering how Yellow was triggered by us. There are few players within the game that are way too strong for others, and it is a shame, but this is when we have to bring our a game and where tactic means everything, because we always have to find alternative ways of getting those points, when our original plan fails to the pieces.
