SIEGE OF WINTERFELL | SEASON 16 GRAND FINALE | NBE vs ROD!

Welcome Lord and Ladies to the moment you have all been waiting for, It’s finally here, the Grand Finale of the Siege of Winterfell Season 16. Tonight, we have the two best teams in all of Westeros but only one of them will go away with the title. The first team we have is NBE led by the impressive CH4RLIEE, his team has won Siege of Winterfell once before and he knows his team are the favorites to win it this season. On the other side we have previous winners ROD led by the infamous b3nni, he knows the match will be close but they have a chance to win it all again. Two team’s previous winners and both vying for your support, who will you choose? Will it be the favorites and undefeated NBE or will it be the underdogs but never forgotten ROD? Stay with us Lords and Ladies and witness these two behemoths put it all on the line for you!

B3nni had tasted defeat this season but that didn’t matter anymore, “the package will be our main goal, if we can control the package, we control our fate,” b3nni was an experience warrior and he wasn’t going to fall at the final hurdle.

As for Siege of Winterfell it has a symmetrical battlefield, both sides have two outposts and two strongholds on their side with the Armory and Hotsprings on the left and right side respectively with Winterfell itself directly in the middle. The team which controls these structures will accumulate points per minute, also a package from Winterfell which when delivered also provides points, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins. Will b3nni’s package focus be his key to victory or will it become his tomb? You won’t want to miss this Lord and Ladies!

Lord Orval was second in command and a plan for the strongholds, “if we keep our own and fight only for theirs, we can cut their supplies,” Lord Orval had learnt from his mistakes in the past and wasn’t going to give up the important strongholds without a fight. “I will be heading for the Hotsprings, while Lord Orval and his group will head for the Armory, I expect full concentration, the start is important for the rest of the match,” b3nni knew his team had to be ready for the strongholds as they provide the greatest number of points. 

On the other hand, CH4RLIEE knew the pressure was on him, the whole of Westeros believed them to be the favorites and they had to prove their worth once again,” if we manage to take the Hotsprings and Armory first, we will get those first capture points which can play at the minds of our opponents, if they see they are behind that can affect them,” CH4RLIEE wanted to use his cavalry to quickly capture structures but will his team be able to hold on to them is the question. Will CH4RLIEE’s gamble at speed pay off or will the favorites for Season 16 crumble to the pressure? Lords and Ladies, the Grand Finale is finally about to start, prepare yourselves for a spectacle you will never forget!

The match finally got underway and both teams would be content with the start, NBE taking the Hotsprings and ROD capturing the Armory,” they are slow taking their outposts, we hold a lead but we need more than this, get ready for the strongholds,” CH4RLIEE saw his plan beginning to take shape, he had the lead but the strongholds will now determine whether or not he can continue to play mind games with his opponents. “Take the Hotsprings before you head to the strongholds, we will need the healing buff, this is going to be a long and gruelling match,” b3nni wasn’t bothered by NBE’s lead, the package control was all he cared about, he knew the team that secured the package would win this match. ROD would be unsuccessful at capturing the Hotsprings before the strongholds opened which gave the advantage to NBE, now came the hard part.

The first package would determine the flow of the match and it was ROD who first picked it up but NBE were right there to match them,” head towards Greyjoy Stronghold 2, our reinforcements will be quicker there,” Lord Orval saw an easy path to victory but it was easier said than done. “Don’t let them secure the package, we can see them heading towards their stronghold, we need to take the package or the stronghold, either one will slow them down,” CH4RLIEE was focused on the package but his team slowly secured a 2k lead and if they could keep the first package far away from strongholds, they were winning the points game. The first package would slowly make its way to the Greyjoy Stronghold 2 but not before changing hands a couple of times but the fight would last for over 10 minutes, meanwhile NBE continued to accrue a lead.

The fight for the first package continued each team not giving an inch but it seemed ROD was managing to slowly whittle down the NBE forces,” they have a longer march towards the package, we are holding the package longer than they are,” b3nni could see Greyjoy Stronghold 2 in his sights, only a little further and the first package would be secured. “We need to keep resetting the package, the longer its on the ground, the more time we have to take their bases around them,” CH4RLIEE could see they were outnumbered in the package fight, their only option now was to slow down the eventual package delivery. The first package was finally delivered at the 30 minutes mark by ROD, which gave them a 1k lead in the match, the countdown began for the second and most crucial package of the match. 

All eyes would turn to the second package, the team that delivered this crucial objective would surely win the match,” we have the package again, package team march towards Greyjoy Stronghold 2, this time it will be easier,” Lord Orval knew NBE were very good at taking outposts while the package was being delivered, the longer the time of delivery the more points NBE would gain over ROD. “They are heading to the same place, if they deliver it’s over, we have 26 minutes to hold the line,” TheOnlyKing was the team caption of the package team for NBE and his only job now was making sure ROD were stuck in the middle of the battlefield. 

The fight for the second package was as tough as the first, “only 12 minutes remaining, the gap is only 1k, we’ve held them for so long, only a little further,” TheOnlyKing saw the package get closer and closer to Greyjoy Stronghold 2, NBE were running out of resources and he knew it. “They gave us a strong fight but nothing will stop this train,” b3nni held a small smirk for all the doubters of ROD, he knew the package would be delivered and victory would be secured. A few minutes later ROD delivered the second package and their lead would grow to 6k, there was only 11 minutes remaining, not enough time to deliver the third package and swing it back for NBE, the second package delivery had won the match for ROD. “They have won the match, being second to ROD on this day is nothing to be ashamed of, they deserve their win,” CH4RLIEE knew NBE didn’t have enough time to make the points up and called the match, the remaining 11 minutes would be ROD trying to defend their lead, which was successful. 

The match came to an end and the celebrations started for ROD, “this is our second Siege of Winterfell title, we messed up a lot of bets with this match, they should have bet on us,” b3nni was feeling bullish, he had just led his team for the second time to victory. “That was a close game, I have to say NBE were incredible at taking structures while the package fight was happening but they never tried to secure it themselves,” Lord Orval was still thinking about the match instead of celebrating but he had plenty of time for that.

On the other hand, NBE were justifiably distraught, “we came so close and to have our first defeat of the season in the finals really hurts but we will learn from this, we won’t make the same mistake again, packages are more important than structures sometimes,” CH4RLIEE wished they could have a rematch but that will have to wait until season 17.
