Angel Star Level

Server: S1 Loralei / Player: Nessus

When I increased the Star level of angel Ourea from 1 to 2, I expected that my team BR would increase. It didn't. When I look at the Guardian Angel screen, it does show that the Guardian Angel Bonus has increased to 40% (on the assigned hero, Blood Angel), but there's no change in BR. I didn't notice when I added the first star if it changed or not, but I suspect not.

Is this expected or is there a bug....or did I just waste the resources upgrading the angel?
