What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The semifinals of the Illusion Battlefield League are here, and only four alliances remain in the fight for the championship. After another round of eliminations, the competition has narrowed to the strongest teams, every one of them hailing from Servers 38 and 73. With just two weeks left, the intensity is at its peak as the final contenders prepare for their last battles. On the left side of the bracket, AoW and CUBS were slated to face each other at 09:00 UTC, while on the right side, BUNS and Ascendants of Asgard were scheduled to fight at 12:00 UTC. However, both sides have mutually agreed to forfeit one match each to prioritize KvK, resulting in AoW and BUNS automatically advancing to the finals. The grand finals between AoW and BUNS will take place next weekend, deciding who will be crowned this season’s Illusion Battlefield League champion.

💠Legion of Frostborne

The long-awaited Zone 2 battles have erupted, and what a spectacle they’ve been. As soon as the gates opened, Ember made a bold and coordinated push, pathed directly toward Hydro’s Zone 2 gates, and simultaneously secured all six of their own. This aggressive opening immediately established Ember’s presence deep into Hydro’s territory, setting the tone for the war. Hydro fought fiercely to prevent Ember’s expansion, especially around the southern gates, managing to destroy several Ember towers early on. However, Ember managed to swarm and secure the rightmost gate, using clever distractions to split Hydro’s defenses. The gate changed hands multiple times before Hydro successfully dismantled Ember’s tower, temporarily trapping one of Ember’s strongest players. Yet, through a calculated series of feints and tower placements, Ember freed their locked player, reclaimed lost ground, and began their steady advance. From there, Ember’s dominance became undeniable. They methodically secured all six Zone 2 gates, captured Hydro’s Zone 2 cities, and dismantled Hydro’s towers leading into Zone 3. By the end of the week, Hydro was effectively locked out of Zone 3, and Ember had cemented their control over the battlefield.

💠Golden Week

This week marks the start of Golden Week, a major holiday across many Asian countries, and GT Arcade is celebrating with a lineup of festive rewards. Players can take advantage of several free or low-cost packs, all available through the GT Arcade app by earning points from daily tasks. The highlight of the event is the Moonlit Hearth castle skin, offering 3% resource gathering speed for just 100 points. In addition, players can claim a free daily bundle containing 300 Gems, 9 Philosopher’s Stones, Superior Resource Chests, and speedups. These daily packs add up quickly, providing a steady stream of resources during a demanding KvK season when Gems are more precious than ever for restoring prosperity. It’s a generous celebration, one that rewards consistent play and provides meaningful support to all active governors participating in the ongoing war.
