Platforms

This forum support is for three platforms: GTA, Facebook and Gamerocks, formerly Kabam. It's important to let me know what your platform is, so I can assist you better whenever you report in-game related issues.

As you can see from the screenshot above, Facebook and GTA logo are properly labelled next to your character's name, so your platform cannot be both. All Facebook players also have an extra icon called FB Inbox that none of the GTA players have. So, Desktop App or client is NOT the platform's name. I have to emphasize this because I had players in the past who told me the platform is Desktop App. Desktop App, as its name suggests, is an app, not a platform.

Facebook (Recharge)

To all Facebook players, if you want to recharge any deals from Direct Shop or anything beside Diamonds like Special Offer and Royal Perks, please load the game by Turbo Mode. Compatible Mode only allows Diamonds recharge, so just change the mode so it can properly connect to your Facebook character.

Desktop App (Multiple login)

Desktop App has Multiple login feature, where you can add 5 extra accounts. Each account comes with their own email address and password. Please keep this in mind, 1 account can have multiple characters and 1 server can only have 1 character.

IF 2 characters under the same account have the same (final) server, you CANNOT load them up at the same time because of the overlap risk. For example:

• Character A, original server is 1417 while Character B is 1419. Despite having different original server, both (final) server is ub111. So, both characters CANNOT be loaded at the same time.

You can load multiple characters under the same account IF they do not have the same (final) server. For example:

• Character A, original server is 1377 while Character B is 1419. Final server for 1377 is ub110 while 1419 is ub111. In this case, it is safe to load them at the same time.

IF Account A and Account B have a character on the same server, you CAN load them at the same time because they are essentially on separate account. There is no risk of overlap in this case.

Clear Cache (Desktop App)

• Exit your active GTA from the tray system.

• Right click on the GTA icon and select Open file location.

• Go to cache folder from the address bar.

• Delete game folder.

• All that's left is launch Desktop App again, and you will be asked to enter your login info once more.

Web-Play App

While using Desktop App, we have an event called Mini-client Pass. It offers rewards after completing 5 tasks daily for a total 27 days. You can complete all the tasks by Web-Play App, BUT you won't be able to collect the rewards without Desktop App. Hence, I will NOT recommend anyone to play by Web-Play App. Still, Web-Play App is a good alternative if you cannot use Desktop App for some reason. Please keep in mind that web-play app can run on ANY browser.

• Download the app.

• Install the app and you will receive a notification on screen.

• Click on any server and choose Installed Play now. 

• You will see a brief loading image and a new game window will open for you.

Screenshots

It is VERY MUCH appreciated if you can learn how to take proper screenshot(s) if you are unable to. Screenshot is one of the requirements for report, even for a mundane issue. Lightshot is the recommended tool. It's a small app that allows you to upload, share, print, copy, and save the screenshot you take with or without editing. While using this app, remember to set the upload image setting to JPEG.

• Right click on Lightshot icon

• Click Options...

• Go to Formats tab and select JPEG

If you don't want to use this app, no problem, but in case the image size becomes an issue, just upload them to any free image hosting site and share the link. Next, three things I have to highlight whenever you take a screenshot: IGN, server name/number and timestamp (optional). Desktop App has it's own timestamp at the top bar but has no date, so in-game clock is more accurate. In cases when screenshot of Hot Events is provided, timestamp won't be necessary but please, please do not crop the game info.
