===================== The Uneven Match? =====================

When the battlefield gates of Winterfell opened, two banners faced each other: 7GD, a small yet decent alliance recently reinforced by friends, and LsK whose strength were shining brighter than a stone under cold sun.

Even before the battle began, the truth was clear: LsK stood two million alliance scores above 7GD, a gap no strategist could ignore. Worse, their lords had already set full battle gear right after reset, it was a message and it's intent was unmistakable.

We are going to crush you because we are simply older, better and sharper.

Yet Alex, the shot caller of 7GD, checked their match history. LsK had fought before with alliances that 7GD had beaten many times. Still, once again Alex inspected their accounts and his heart grew heavy. LsK seemed like no ordinary opponent, but a strong and wise one.

He told Anth, 7GD’s leader. Together they started doing the preparations. Plans were drafted, roles assigned, pilots warned. In just a few hours, what seemed like a mismatch was turning into a battle worth dying for.

----------------------------------------------------------------- Numbers and Resolve -----------------------------------------------------------------

When both armies entered the frozen map, the roster appeared.

• 7GD: 54 soldiers — fewer than hoped, yet all committed to ride or die match.
• LsK: 43 soldiers — the most they had ever gathered during the whole season.

The numbers told their own story: fewer bodies, but sharper blades. Alex muttered - Better we have fifty riders who fight till the very end, than seventy elephants who wander with no point.

The horns blew. The Siege of Winterfell began.

----------------------------------------------------------------------- The First Push -----------------------------------------------------------------------

7GD’s strategy unfolded with precision. The fighters split into two strike groups, storming the Armory and the Hot Spring.

• The Armory first capture was done by 7GD, giving them 50% total attack, health and defense buff.
• The Hot Spring followed, doubling their hospital healing speed.

Though the fights were ongoing in both Armory and Hotspring - meanwhile smaller marches captured closest Outposts and stationed there. The idea behind it was leaving the small marches that would fall very quickly in fight as a speed bumps against any possible snipes from LsK.

When the Strongholds opened, 7GD immediately rushed forward. Their marches thundered across the snow, smashing through the opponent's resistance. Most of the first capture points were claimed. Majority of the map tilted blue under Greyjoy team = 7GD's banners.

----------------------------------------------------------------- The Winterfell Package -----------------------------------------------------------------

Snowflakes drifted in the quiet as Winterfell gates creaked open. The winds were as sweet and at the same time cold as pina colada. Winterfell has spawned it’s first golden package. And it was gleaming with promise, like a polar star in the clear sky for every sailor.

Both sides lunged. LsK’s fastest march seized it first, shielded by a bunch of defenders. Step by step, they dragged it toward their controlled one and only Stronghold. But 7GD’s storm could not be held back.

The package carrier was struck down. Another LsK picked it up. He too fell even quicker. It happened repeatedly again, and again, until finally 7GD got themself a strong carrier covered by few other fresh ones. Seven minutes of such chaos later, and the package was delivered to 7GD's Stronghold.

It was more than just a few points from the package. For those seven minutes of fights and chaos around the package, 7GD had dominated the map, grabbing all the points while LsK bled troops and speedups in understanding that they just can’t hold under such pressure.

------------------------------------------------------------------ The Breaking of LsK ------------------------------------------------------------------

The loss of the package drained LsK’s spirit. Their warriors still fought bravely, returning and fighting again and again at the Outposts and Strongholds. But every statue spawn became a torment: too few marches to cover buildings, too few troops compared to 7GD to seize objectives even though 7GD also dropped some of them.

7GD pressed, yet they showed mercy of a kind. They did not pen LsK into their base, though the thought was tempting. The LsK's warriors fought tooth and nail for every snow hill, refusing to bow. Their valor was not in question — only their numbers was off and that made it's difference.

------------------------------------------------------------ Victory in the North ------------------------------------------------------------

The final horn sounded. The ledger was tallied.

7GD had won.

Not only because in the end they were the stronger alliance. Not because the North gods favored them. But because their coordination, their discipline, and their unyielding resolve carried them through.

Was it their extra marches? Better preparation? Or was Alex’s fear misplaced and 7GD were always the strongest hand here?

No one could say for sure. But one truth remained:

In the Siege of Winterfell, unity can turn snow into fire, and even the mightiest opponents can be scattered like leaves before the storm.
