First off using alliance score as a base to determine matchups does not and will never work. Easy to manipulate alliance score. 2 or 3 players with red equipment and the newest commanders maxed out just need to join a tiny alliance so the alliance score matches the average alliance and thus causes 500k marches vs 1.2 bill plus marches. In my opinion this is taking place. Alliance evaluation same deal. Evaluating an entire alliance is foolish especially when an alliance with 86 players (yes another joined us) only has 10 to 20 that enter such events/battles (most say not worth participating) when alliances with players all with t5s and red gear are matched up against T4 alliances. Just like our last SOW. The tiny ones in our opponents alliance did not participate only the red gear players did. Manipulation?
SOLUTION: Two tier registration. Example. SOW the alliance leader or Alliance official registers their alliance for a specific time within 24 hours. Step 2 of the registration, individuals within the alliance has 24 hours to register themselves for the event.
RESULT: "The System" now makes the matchups based on those who registered for the event and no longer base it off an entire alliance.
This would also work for events like AOW.
I do believe the developers have created a run away train they no longer know how to control. Yes they need to keep introducing new stuff to the game to keep the spenders spending for the survival of the game but they sure lost control of having fair and balanced warring events for all to enjoy.
Just my brain at work again hoping for a improved system of match making, because myself and many more can not enjoy warring in a war game.
Bounty, Elite Bounty, Day of Trade, Anglers feast, etc. in my opinion are excellent "Give always" helping all obtain what we require to grow So I will applaud the developers for events like those but they are not warring events nor more than the crystal mines is a warring event but serves a excellent purpose.
Your friend "Talks A Lot" haha
