1. Introduction – A Pass That’s Worth the March
The Expedition Battle Pass is a seasonal reward system part of SvS session and exclusive to Conquest campaigns. It was introduced in Patch 2.8.3 as part of a broader effort to tie rewards to active Legion participation.

At first glance, it might seem similar to other event passes. But this one is more strategic. It’s not about dailies. It’s about making the right moves across the KvK season.
You progress by completing Personal Legion Achievements, which track everything from tower building and PvE to PvP and garrison action. It’s not a grind-heavy system. You just need to complete 20 out of 26 tasks to claim all 30 levels of rewards.
Before this system was launched, it was teased as a game-changer, and now that it's live, it's clear why. The structure rewards smart planning, light activity, and coordination more than sheer power.
And those rewards? Very solid.
- 60 Legion Skill Selection Chests
- 60 Artifact Chests
- Random Immortal Fragments, Speedups, Resources

The Premium Tier (Golden Medallion) costs $49.99 and includes one-click claiming, Holy/Shadow fragments, 60 Legion Skill Chests that come with a massive value compared to recharge bundles, and 60 Artifact Selection Chest.
2. How the Personal Achievement System Works
Each of the 26 achievements gives 150 EXP.

You only need 3,000 EXP to finish the pass, meaning 20 completions is enough. This gives you room to skip 6 tasks, which is great for players with limited time, no alts, or a passive KvK bracket.

The tasks vary in style:
- Tower building and city donation
- PvE grinding (gnomes, altars)
- PvP (defeats, rallies, prosperity hits)
- Healing, training, resource gathering
Some require coordination or farm accounts, active SvS brackets, active alliances...others are solo-friendly.
Skip Logic Quick Tip:
No farm accounts? Consider skipping Unstoppable, Portal Magician, or Peace Breaker.
Passive bracket? Skip Zeroing, Garrison Hits, and City Assaults.

3. The Good Tasks – Easy Wins, No Pain
Some achievements are simply efficient. You can complete them naturally while playing without needing crazy setups or coordination.
✅These are your most efficient bets✅:
- Safety First – Complete 40 Thermal Tower constructions
- Demolition Expert – Destroy 20 enemy Thermal Towers (even unbuilt count)
- Civil Engineer – Build 4 Thermal Towers within 240 minutes

Tower-related tasks are some of the easiest. Start Civil Engineer early—build 4 towers within 240 minutes when construction is fast and alliances are chaining everywhere. Safety First takes longer: build 40 towers, often done later in KvK. If you're stuck in Zone 1, just spam builds. Low on alliance resources? Consider skipping this one. Demolition Expert is also simple—destroy 20 towers, even unbuilt ones count. Use a bit of AP or hit farm alliances towers to finish it fast.
- Rally Lover – Participate in 10 rally attacks and achieve victory
- Bulldozers – Reduce enemy Wall durability by 250M
- Take'em – Slay 120,000 Gnome city garrison troops
- Troop Maniac – Donate 20,000,000 resources to a city
Once your alliance captures a level 15 city, Troop Maniac becomes a quick win. Just donate 20 million resources to help with garrison training. If your faction picked a calm bracket with no major threats, you can wrap this one up early — likely while still in Zone 1.

- Slay and Take – Plunder 60,000,000 resources
- Into the Blizzard – Defeat 400 level 50+ Gnomes in the blizzard. Taking down 400 gnomes is easy early on, before PvP begins. Aim for 58 a day to finish before the gate opens or just 13 daily to spread it out. Best time to do it? During the Double Rewards event for extra value.
- Sudden Attack – Train 40,000 troops in 30 minutes
- Healing Madness – Heal 100,000 troops in 30 minutes
- Explorer – Explore 20 Altars. They appear daily at 0:00 and 12:00 UTC starting in Zone 2.
These tasks are safe, quick, and don’t require special tactics. If you’re casual or focused on value-per-effort, these are the ones to lock in my opinion.
4. The Tougher Ones – Doable With Planning
These are not impossible but will require specific setups or planning:
- Clown Maker – Reduce enemy territory prosperity by 250,000 in a single attack
- The Ambulance – Obtain 700,000 honor from assists or trap garrisons
- In One Fell Swoop – Obtain 300,000 honor in 30 minutes
- Hat Trick – Completely destroy enemy territory prosperity 3 times in 10 minutes
- Last Stand – Defend successfully with <25% prosperity remaining
- Warrior’s Return – Win a battle with less than 25% troops remaining
- Fearsome Strike – Obtain 70,000 honor points in a single battle
- For Honor – Obtain 3,000,000 honor points from battle

PvP tasks are bracket-dependent, but with enemies around — or farm accounts — you can knock out several at once.
5. The Skip List – What You Should Probably Avoid
You can skip 6. These are your best candidates:
- The More the Merrier – Gather 1,000,000,000 resources: This task isn’t worth your time. Especially if your SvS bracket is active and PvP intensive.

Gathering 1 billion resources sounds simple, until you do the math. To hit 1B, you'd need around 15 days of nonstop farming. If your marches are limited or the map is contested, you’ll fall behind fast. Better skip it.

It’ll take over 450 hours of non-stop gathering to hit 1 billion resources from Level 11 tiles at 2.2M/hour — that’s more than 18 full days. In a PvP-heavy SvS, this kind of idle farming is risky and inefficient. Most players won’t have the troops or time.
Still, this can be a viable option for passive players in quiet brackets.
If you go for it:
1. Farm overnight
2. Prioritize bountiful resource tiles for better yield
- Unstoppable – Defeat 5 enemy Lords' units at once with a single rally

Unstoppable needs your target to use the Mass Invasion tactic, allowing 5 garrisons. Without that setup — either from an enemy or a farm alliance — this task becomes unachievable. That’s why it’s a solid candidate for your skip list.
- Peace Breaker – Attack 3 enemy cities

Peace Breaker can be tricky. It depends on enemy alliances owning cities and your alliance having the setup and members to take them dismantling towers, placing yours, and launching attacks. You can also cheese it using a farm alliance, but that involves removing them from your federation and abandoning their tower. It works, but it’s a chore.
- Portal Magician – Force 20 enemy Lords to teleport
- Nice Trip – Loot 8,000,000 resources in one single attack
- Total Annihilation – Defeat 10 enemy city garrison units at once
These are time-consuming, depend on your bracket, or require multiple cities/farm accounts.
6. Strategy by Player Type
Free-to-Play
- Stick to PvE: towers, altars, and Gnomes
- Skip PvP unless you can use farm accounts
- Healing and training are safe, easy completions
- Cities and Sieges are possible, but you likely won’t deal enough damage unless your alliance assigns you a Gate to farm points
Light Spender
- Same core as F2P
- Aim for 5–6 medium tougher tasks
Whale
- Go all-in
- Chain PvP tasks with rallies and alts
- Every task is achievable

7. Maël’s Take – This Pass Is Sneaky Good
Compared to recharge bundles, the Expedition Pass gives you far more for less.

- 60 Legion Skill Chests for $50 = $0.83 per chest
- Recharge cost? $2.33 per chest

It’s 3x cheaper and far more fun to unlock through smart gameplay.
And the best part? You don’t have to win KvK to profit from it. Just do your part, plan your 20 tasks, and collect everything.
It’s effort-based, not rank-based. That’s a win.

8. Final Words
With 30 days to finish 20 tasks, the pass is forgiving.
No burnout. No pressure.
Just play smart, log your progress, and avoid energy traps. Whether you’re conquering enemies or just farming altars, the value is there
