• Active: Maintains cleansing and healing effects after any Ultimate Skill.

Artifact Change: From +5% trigger chance to +30% healing effectiveness.

Maël’s Opinion: The transition of the trigger chance increase from active to passive is huge. Nine Tails now consistently strengthens skill-heavy teams, significantly boosting team reliability. The artifact change is also a huge boost in my opinion with the +30% healing received being more impactful than the initial additional +5% trigger chance.

Artifact Adjustments

Nine Tails’ Artifact shifts from a modest trigger rate enhancement (+5%) to significantly increased healing (+30%).

Maël’s Opinion: This shift strongly emphasizes Nine Tails’ healing role, making her indispensable in sustained combat scenarios.

Impact on Meta

Originally designed primarily as a Poseidon counter, Nine Tails now amplifies teams relying heavily on trigger-based skills, drastically reshaping strategic team-building approaches.

• Winners: Nine Tails, teams using Corrosive Power, Infinite Firepower, Energy Mastery.
• Losers: DoT and Serious Wound Immortals like Poseidon, Qin, Khan and those using Drastic Action.

Maël’s Opinion:This rework positions Nine Tails as a pivotal Immortal for trigger-focused lineups, providing stability and consistent power. Expect a meta shift as players adapt to this enhanced strategic depth.

The Nine Tails rework is transformative. Her new passive provides continual team enhancement rather than conditional bursts. This stable reliability, combined with boosted healing capabilities, makes her invaluable for competitive play. However, players must adapt and strategically integrate her to maximize her potential.

Overall, patch 2.8.4 reflects player feedback effectively, delivering optimizations and balance improvements that meaningfully enhance gameplay.

Conclusion
