Running from May 14 to May 23, this 10-day challenge feels familiar on the surface — but beneath the icy surface lies a more competitive, layered, and arguably more rewarding structure than before.

Whether you're here for the new Battle Pass, looking to earn Stardust, or tempted by the elusive Treasure Hunt, this is an event where planning makes all the difference. So let’s walk through the mechanics, hidden pitfalls, and where the real value lies.

Daily Sign-In – 20 Free Crystals, No Excuses

Let’s start simple. Each day you log in during the event, you’ll earn 2 Resonance Crystals just by claiming your reward in the event interface.

That’s 20 free crystals over 10 days.

Maël’s Tip: Don’t forget this. If you're not doing anything else in the event, at least grab your free Resonance Crystals daily.

The Hunting Season Battle Pass – Is It Worth It?

This is where the event really starts to show its teeth. The Hunting Season Battle Pass follows the same tiered format as previous events: 30 levels, split between Free and Premium tracks. But this time, the value is seriously front-loaded.

Free Track:

• 60 Resonance Crystals

Premium Track – $49.99:

• 145 additional Crystals
• 6,000 Gems
• 60 Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments,
• Corridor of Ghostflame Castle Skin (+2% Troop HP, Honor)

You gain EXP by completing 7 daily missions — capping at 700 EXP per day, with 7,000 total EXP needed to finish. That gives you wiggle room to skip a couple of days or tasks if needed.

Maël’s Take: The Battle Pass is easily worth it if you don’t already have a +2% HP skin. The Crystals, Gems, and Fragments alone justify the price, and the visual style of the Ghostflame skin is one of the strongest seasonal designs so far.

Glorious Challenge – Wait for Hard Mode

If you’re gunning for Souvenir Coins to spend in the shop, this is where you start grinding.

Each day you get 5 free challenge attempts, which refresh at 0:00 UTC. You face PvE stages — gnomes, formations, and similar setups. The big catch?

• Normal Mode unlocks Day 1
• Hard Mode unlocks Day 3

Why it matters:

You can purchase extra challenge tickets using Gems, but here’s the key detail: tickets expire the same day you buy them. So if you buy them before Hard Mode opens, you’re forced to use them on weaker Normal stages, which yield fewer coins.

Maël’s Tip: Wait until Day 3, stock up on tickets only when Hard Mode is available, and raid high-difficulty stages for max efficiency.

Pinnacle Trial – One Shot, Big Win

This is a daily test of your PvE depth. You get 1 ticket per day, with no extra purchases possible.

The fights? PvE battles against Immortals with strong passive skill setups. They're tough — but the rewards are excellent:

• 18 Resonance Crystals 
• Holy/Shadow Fragments
• Random Immortal Fragments

Each cleared level can then be raided for passive daily income, a nice source of steady progression.

Maël’s Tip: Even if you fail, there’s no cost. Just attempt daily and see how far you get — it adds up.

Treasure Hunter – Designed for Whales, Skip for Most

Now we get to the core of the event’s monetization system: The Hunt.

Spend Resonance Crystals, open chests, and hope to hit the jackpot.

Here’s the catch:

• The jackpot pool is shared across all servers
• There’s a 2-hour reset if no one wins a Grand Prize
• Each Crystal spent = 1 point for the ranking leaderboard

Why it’s an issue:

The odds for Chaos-tier rewards are below 3%. You can buy bundles (up to $99.99 for 210 Crystals), but unless you’re a top spender aiming for Apollo or Chaos, you’ll be competing against players with thousands of pulls.

Maël’s Take:This system was designed for big spenders. The cost per pull is too high, and most players will walk away with speedups and resources. If you’re F2P, skip this entirely. If you’re a moderate spender, save your Crystals and push for daily leaderboard snipe late in the event, when competition may dip.

Celebration Shop – Spend Smart

This is where all your Souvenir Coins go — and it’s easy to get overwhelmed.

Top Priorities:

• 500 Stardust
• 2x Artifact Selection Chests
• Pursuer Avatar Frame + Wind Whisper Chatbox (1,700 Coins total)

Optional (if you’re a Chaos user):

• 90 Resonance Crystals (18,000 Coins total — expensive)

Coin math:

• Stage 16 Normal Mode raiding = 1,060 Coins per day
• Over 9 days? ~9,500 Coins
• Add Hard Mode = 12K+ Coins easily

Maël’s Tip: If you’re not hunting Chaos Immortals, skip the Crystals and prioritize Stardust + Artifact Chests. Great long-term value.

Worst Value: $9.99 and $19.99 — skip those.

The Hunting Festival 2025 brings a well-priced Battle Pass, and meaningful rewards especially for non-spenders and moderate buyers.

But the Treasure Hunt, while flashy, is realistically out of reach and a bit deceiving.

🟢 Free-to-Play: Focus on PvE, finish the pass, spend coins smartly, and skip the Hunt.

🟡 Moderate Spenders: Buy the Battle Pass and maybe $3 bundles. Don’t chase the Grand Prize.

🔴 Whales: This is your time — if you’re going for Apollo, any other Chaos, or top cosmetics, this event has everything in one place.
