Quite simple to answer.

Those who spend large on the game keeps the game alive. If the big spenders max out their accounts, there is nothing left for them to buy in the game. The end result the game would become non profitable, and we would all be seeking a new game to play.

So, the developers need to keep introducing new features into the game such as commanders to keep the money flowing into the game for it survives.

Stop creating new features and the game will die.

Choose your battles wisely, accepted your losses and be proud of you wins.

I shared that screenshot NOT to personally attack that player. He is one of the game's biggest and strongest who can easily destroy an entire alliance. I have the upmost respect for players like him.
