1. Introduction – A New Pass on the Battlefield

Patch 2.8.3 gave us a heads-up: the Expedition Battle Pass is coming to Conquest.

At first glance, it sounded like a familiar reward track: complete Legion Achievements, earn EXP, unlock chests. But now that we’ve seen the first sneak peek video, it’s clear there’s more going on.

From medallions and fragments to premium rewards and one-click claims — this might be more than just another pass. It could reshape how we grind through Frostborne wars.

So… what exactly is inside the new Expedition Battle Pass?

Let’s break it down.

2. What We Know So Far

The Legion Expedition Battle Pass will be available exclusively during Conquest seasons, launching alongside each Legion of Frostborne campaign. Like other passes before it (Golden Path, Monthly Event Pass), it features 30 levels, two tracks (free and premium), and requires EXP to advance.

The premium tier — Golden Medallion — is priced at $49.99, which puts it in line with other top-tier passes. The free Silver Medallion offers a lighter set of rewards — but still enough to encourage participation.

3. A New Rhythm: How Tasks Work

Progress is based on Personal Legion Achievement tasks, each rewarding 150 EXP. With 3,000 EXP needed to complete the pass and 26 tasks available, you can skip up to 6 tasks and still finish all 30 levels.

These tasks vary: some involve gathering or building towers, others dip into PvP territory. And let’s be honest — some of the PvP objectives can be brutal for some players.

Quick Tip: If you're not fully geared for PvP, focus on the gather/build tasks. With room to skip six, you don’t have to risk unnecessary troop losses.

4. Loot Breakdown: What’s Actually Inside?

Let’s talk rewards.

  • Silver Medallion (Free):
  • 60 Random Immortal Fragments
  • 5x 60-min training speedups
  • 5x 60-min healing speedups
  • 150,000 of each major resource

  • Golden Medallion ($49.99):
  • 60 Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments
  • 60 Artifact Selection Chests (elemental choice: Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, Lightning)
  • 60 Legion Skill Selection Chests
  • 6,000 Gems
  • One-click reward claiming

5. Is It Worth It? My Honest Take

Let’s compare:

🔹 60 Legion Skill Chests

🔹 Recharge Gift (to get 60 Skill Fragments) = ~$140

🔹 Legion Pass = $49.99

➡️ That’s nearly 3x cheaper per skill compared to recharging. For players looking to complete skill collections or recycle intelligently, the pass hits a sweet spot.

And you don’t need to win KvK — just show up and complete the tasks you’d be doing anyway.

📉 Cost per skill chest:

  • Legion Pass: ~$0.83 each
  • Recharge Bundle: ~$2.33 each

6. Final Thoughts

This Battle Pass isn’t just another add-on — it’s a smart progression layer for the game’s most strategic mode. With minimal extra effort, you’re doubling your return on regular KvK play.

And here’s the real kicker: For players already completing tasks during Legion, this isn’t a grind — it’s a reward for what you're already doing.

This pass delivers.

What’s your take? Is the Golden Medallion worth it for you? Would you like to see more reward systems tied to existing events?

I’d love to hear how you plan to use this pass in the next Conquest. Drop your thoughts in the comments!
