What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes challenging to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The final week of the Season 6 IBL tournament is drawing close. Last week, BUNS, CUBS, AoW, and PRD remained undefeated in the tournament. The winner will be crowned this Sunday and the third and fourth-place teams will also be determined. Last week we saw four teams dwindle down to two.

Server 73’s BUNS won a civil war against their sister team CUBS with a score of 33,800 to 0 as neither played seriously and the outcome was predetermined.
Server 38’s AoW utterly dismantled Server 73’s PRD to a tune of 100,000 to 20,400 as most of PRD was largely unable to leave their spawn.

Servers 38 and 73 had four and five teams at the start of playoffs and now only one team from each server remains. BUNS will try to keep the championship in 73 while AoW will try to reclaim their glory from Season 1. PRD and CUBS will match up for the third and fourth spots, but PRD is already slated to win so they will claim third and CUBS will claim fourth. BUNS and AoW will play the finals at 12:00 UTC.

💠Legion of Frostborne

A new season of KvK is here and the Legion of Frostborne map opened this week. There are several interesting matchups this season. The season started on Friday, April 4, and will end on Tuesday, May 6. This will be the first full season where Apollo will likely make a huge impact and we will see how hard the mage nerfs hit the meta.

In Region 277, Servers M006, 105, 209, and 231 created a coalition against Server 170. M006, 105, and 231 occupy Terra, 209 reside in Hydro, and 170 selected Zephyr as their starting zone. On paper, the two oppositions have enough firepower to match each other.
In Region 278, Servers 56 and 136 are oppositions. 56 is in Ember while 136 is in Hydro so they won’t see each other until Zone 2.
In Region 280, Server 73 will take on the rest of the map while Servers 13, 16, 115, 139, 143, and 225 will oppose them.
In Region 283, Server 38 will have a relatively easy matchup as none of the other Servers in M005, 45, 52, 189, 205, 243, and 277 are no match for them.

💠Egyptian Pyramid Recharge Event

Younger servers have a recharge event that features the new Egyptian Pyramid castle decoration that isn’t available for Conquest Servers yet. The event started on Saturday, April 5, and will end on Friday, April 11, lasting seven days. The skin gives 5% AP Recovery Speed and 5% Resource Gathering Speed. The event also rewards players with 50 Eternal Dragon Soul Chests and 50 Precious Dragon Crystal Selection Chests. To claim these gifts, players must purchase a total of 50,000 Gems. If you are someone who is going after Legendary Skills or Chaos Immortals, the best value purchases are the first three Eye of Chaos bundles and the first two or three Divine Coin bundles. Purchasing five packs of the first three Chaos bundles for three days will give you about 58,000 Gems. Purchasing the first three Divine Coin bundles for three days will give you about 57,000 Gems. That said, the skin itself isn’t very good, but if you are buying the bundles anyway, it’s a good throw-in reward.

💠Summary

Only two teams remain in the IBL tournament and one of Server 38 and Server 73 will be crowned the winner this season. Legion of Frostborne officially kicked off this week. Non-conquest servers have a new Egyptian Pyramid skin available in a recharge event.
