GoTWiC [AoH] S3R2 Maiae's REVENGE? (House Targeryan)

Greetings ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the new Arena of Honor Season 3 match. After a great opening match of the season where we managed to achieve a convincing victory, Stanko was impatiently waiting for the new match.

However, this will be the first time since the first season that he will not play with Tom Dom, who has found a new team and wants to fight with them. Stanko had to urgently find a new player. He immediately sent a letter to his friend Ches 2, a very strong cavalry player, and hoped for a positive response. Fortunately for all of us, that happened.

"We will have a strong cavalry leader," Stanko told his team.

The match had just started and the players were getting ready to enter.

"Adjust your weapons and bring everything we will need in the match," said Stanko.

This time they will represent House Targeryan.

And the first one he saw was Maiae.

A very strong cavalry player whom Stanko has already met in Glorius Battle and against whom he most often fought battles and came out victorious. Also there was the BTa alliance, which will represent the house of Baratheon.

All in all, an exciting match awaits us and it will be very difficult to repeat the success from the previous round. The match has started. We all sent all our troops to the Strongholds to finish them as soon as possible and get the points. We decided on trading posts, because they bring the most points. But that meant we had to focus on the Maiden's that bring the % point increase. The first Altar arrived and Git was in charge for us, while DemonQ and Ches were supposed to try to take some opponents. However, problems started immediately, from none other than Maiae, who defeated Git with a solo attack, even though Git had the support of his other teammates. As the others were busy,

Stanko said: "Leave it to me. If I win, quickly send me additional spearmen".

That's how it was. In a rather close match, Stanko still managed to beat Maiae once again, who had even 500k more troops.

Since none of the teammates won the opponent's Altar, we were left with only one. However, they were coming much more important - Maidens. Git was in charge of ours while Adijjj and DemonQ attacked the neighbors.

"Send the spearmen quickly, they have started to attack", Stanko said to his other teammates.

However was late, because the opponents managed to defend their Maidens with solo attacks, and we were left with only one.

Seeing that one Maiden was still unsecured, he quickly sent his spearmen in a solo attack, however, it was a well-fortified castle where Stanko lost half of his troops.

Preoccupied with the Maidens, we didn't notice that Clan Castle had been conquered by House Greyjoy. As cavalry troops were inside, Stanko quickly recovered his own and managed to defend the castle.

We didn't quite start as we planned, but the opponents were getting tougher and tougher and it's hard to manage to capture all 3 Maidens at the beginning. Stanko managed to capture the Dragonpit with a solo attack. He was very important because he brought us 40 points per minute. They immediately started with solo attacks, but Stanko had already received the help of his teammates and managed to hold him until the balloon was placed.

Glory was about to open and our rally leaders were ready for Glory. And then came the attack on us Maiden by the spearmen. He was not that strong and Stanko attacked him. However, in the meantime, he received the support of the infantry so that Stanko suffered heavy losses but managed to save Maiden.

Glory was opened and quickly won by House Tyrell and Maiae. Demon and Ches immediately started the rally, but they are defeated because Maiae remains in the trap.

They entered at the last minute. It was necessary to start new rallies as soon as possible. And this time Stanko did it too, who had so far been successful in the fight against Maiae. They quickly managed to send a double spear weakness rally and hope that it will be enough to win. However, Demon's was not filled because we did not have any more spear troops. He was the first to strike, but he had no chance against an opponent that was almost three times larger.

But that was the goal to throw out as many Maiae armies as possible so that Stanko would have more chances to win. However, this time Maiae managed to defeat Stanko because he had more t5 and wins Glory, reducing all houses by 10% of points, and Tyrell comes out on top.

With this, we fell to 4th place and we couldn't allow ourselves to lose the top 3. Greyjoy started attacking our castles. One of them was the Dragonpit. Even though it was infantry, Stanko decided to defend him.

"Leave the Dragonpit to me, you defend the Altars. "

Even though it was a t5 infantry, it had no synergy and Stanko managed to easily defeat the opponent and save a very important building. We entered the last 3 minutes of the match. We managed to fend off the onslaught of House Greyjoy and are now fighting with the Starks for 3rd place.

"It will be a photo finish again", Stanko said.

And so he attacked their Dragonpit looking for quick support from his teammates. The Starks started violently with their attacks, one of the strongest infantry players in the Arena. However, well reinforced by his teammates, Stanko managed to defend himself from the attack, but lost a large number of spearmen.

"Quickly quickly send new troops, they are attacking me." Stanko spoke as new attacks came

The opponent started an infantry rally.

"If we manage to defend ourselves, we have the Dragonpit."

Now with a few dragons and almost 2m t5 he was well established. Fortunately, the opponent did not have only infantry, so Stanko managed to defend himself and capture a very important building.

But it was not the end yet. The constant attacks of the Starks on our Altars began. They were mostly attacks with a few thousand troops. Stanko ordered the weaker players to attack them while the stronger players were in charge of attacking their buildings. In the last minute of the match, the Starks were ahead of us.

"This will be very uncertain until the very end. The one who win more buildings by the end of the fight will be 3."

Stanko wanted us to defend only those buildings that will be lost by the end of the match, he also ordered us to attack the buildings that the Starks occupied at other houses. It was very chaotic and uncertain unlike the last match. The last seconds were being played and now we couldn't do anything because we were losing 600 points from 3rd place. Everyone had already given up and were disappointed with today's outcome, and then in the last second of the match we get 2k points and manage to overtake the Starks and take 3rd place.

"Oh, I can't believe it. What happened? What a photo finish!" Stanko said, celebrating another great result with his team.

And what was interesting was that house Baratheon took over Glory in the last minute and from the last position took the first.

Really amazing match and very interesting. Maiae was declared the MVP of this arena even though they unfortunately lost the match in the last minute, and Stanko once again emerged as the winner after playing a great match.

Now it was necessary to rest the troops and prepare for new challenges.
