The new app version doesn't download

I have been trying to download the new desktop app version for the last several hours but the update progress doesn't even start.

I followed all the steps as it was instructed on the website page to close the app then try updating and if that does not work try uninstalling the old app and download new one. The exe file gets downloaded but when I open it the update progress doesn't move not one bit.

Please fix the download issue.
