This guide will break down Shelter, showing you how it helps in long fights and against different types of enemies. If you learn how to use Shelter well in your strategy, you can really boost your army's toughness and make them last longer in battles.

Skill Description

Shelter, akin to a protective haven, embodies the essence of resilience and endurance in battle. Like a sanctuary amidst the chaos of combat, this skill offers a healing buffer to your immortals when they face adversity. It caters to strategies that embrace the prolonged nature of warfare, prioritizing the sustained well-being of your troops over quick victories. In its essence, Shelter thrives in battles where the enemy's onslaught consists of numerous smaller attacks rather than sudden, overwhelming bursts of damage.

The mechanics of Shelter are rooted in its aura-based design, encompassing all units within its range. With a 50% chance of triggering, it bestows a 40% recovery rate to those who suffer damage, ensuring that each hit endured potentially brings forth a rejuvenating wave of healing. Much like finding solace in the storm, Shelter offers a lifeline to your immortals, allowing them to weather the storm of battle with fortitude and resilience.

Best Times to Use Shelter

Against Steady, Annoying Attacks: Imagine facing enemies who keep bothering your troops with lots of small hits, like those holy teams. Each hit doesn't hurt much on its own, but they add up over time.

That's where Shelter comes in handy. It's like giving your immortals a cozy little hideaway to recover between all those annoying attacks. It helps them stay strong and ready for whatever the enemy throws their way!

Strengths:

Endurance in Battle: Shelter helps your troops last longer in fights, making them tough to beat over time.

Shelter is effective Against Certain Enemies: It's great against holy teams for instance that keep poking at your troops. Shelter helps keep your army strong with constant healing.

Weaknesses:

Not So Good Against Big Hits: Shelter struggles against lightning or Fire teams and others that hit hard and fast. It cannot heal up your troops quickly enough to handle their massive damage. I suggest not equipping Shelter in front of those teams.

To make the most of Shelter, keep these tips in mind:

1. Choose the Right Team: Pick immortals and units that can keep battles going with their defenses, control, or healing abilities. (see below). This boosts Shelter's by making the fight lasts longer, giving it more chances to heal.
