Spotlight on Immortal : Poseidon

Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about The Immortal Poseidon.

Concept : 

Poseidon is a Chaos Spearman Attack Immortal, his mechanic is based on dealing heavy Physical damage and then continuous Physical damage afterward, stopping the enemy to gain any shield effect in the process.

Exclusive Artifact : 

I value it Mandatory because the true strength of Poseidon comes from his Bite effect and you cannot afford to only have a 50% chance to apply it.

I would recommend going for Physical Attack % Primary Attribute and Surge as a special one to have a high Bite uptime.

Skills : 

Has a Physical Damage dealer, all the classic batteries of Physical Damage Dealing Skill work very well on him. However some have a particularly good synergy.

Executioner : Paired with Blade Vortex or not, it can really skyrocket your damage.

Battle Stance : If you have an Iron First Artifact as an example, it can be a good option to increase your Bite uptime. You can then pair it with a Demonic Contract to maximize your damage.

Adrenaline Rush : Paired with Wind Rage or not, it can increase your Bite uptime.

Fighting Master : Poseidon is a main carry and you don’t want him to get controlled.

Best friends : 

Manco and Fu Fei are probably Poseidon’s besties allowing him to go uninterrupted. Matilda can be a good option to solve his low Energy Regen issue, especially if you don’t have a Surge Artifact. Aside from them, any good Guard user will pair very well with Poseidon who can be fragile as an Attack Immortal.

Conclusion : 

Poseidon is one of the strongest immortals currently in the game. As a Chaos immortal he can go in any composition with great success. You can equip him so he is capable of very explosive burst damage or sustained dragged fight, this Immortal can do it all. There is a rumor going around that if you toss a coin and land it on his nose he even does your laundry, but that is yet to be confirmed.
