Spotlight on Immortal : Bjorn

Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about The Immortal Bjorn.

Concept : 

Bjorn is a Shadow Shieldman Defense Immortal, his mechanic is to empower your team to deal more damage, receive less and recover HP.

His ultimate skill creates an area that covers both frontliner of both teams and both backliner in the same row as him. Enemies within that Area will receive more damage, allies in that Area will have an additional 30% resilience increase and will receive a 25% Physical Attack as LifeSteal. 

Exclusive Artifact : 

I value it highly. The exclusive Artifact decreases enemies in the ultimate skill area’s Attack Speed by 50%.

I would recommend going for Physical Defense % Primary Attribute and Growth as a special one.

Skills : 

Has a Defense immortal, all the classic batteries of Enabling/Disabling Skill work very well on him. 

Assist/Guard : Since his ultimate skill has the same effect regardless of his HP state, Bjorn is a very good bodyguard.

Energy Suppression or No Escape : Bjorn is usually best in rapid march and doesn’t usually like battles that drag longer. Delaying the opponent’s team Engine can help his march to get ahead at the start.

Weakening Curse : Usually paired with offensive march, reducing the early game damage the team will suffer can be a really good option.

Aura : Very often the Defense immortal in a march is the one bringing an Aura to the battle.

Magical Shield : If you are worried about heavy magic damage incoming.

Best friends : 

Bjorn is a fairly flexible immortal and can fit well in march that are designed to take the advantages on the early game. He will perform at his best with a Range behind him and an Attack immortal has its side to maximise his LifeSteal Mechanic.

He has a very good synergy with Normal Attack based immortals like Alexander, Hannibal and Atalanta.

Conclusion : 

Bjorn is a very solid immortal, that does a lot of different things on his own and without needing to remain at a high HP state. He is a perfect bodyguard for Physical Damage carry and can help your team to take the early game advantages and retain it thanks to the LifeSteal mechanic. He is not however the kind of immortal that will help you make a miraculous come back, if you fall behind in the early game, Bjorn won’t be able to turn things around, since he spikes very early on and has no incremental mechanic.
