MBL Versus SKR

Alliance Conquest: MBL versus SKR

Peasants and trolls we have ourselves a grudge match story today. It is between two old bitter Alliance Conquest rivals, MBL and SKR. These two alliances have gone back and forth on the field of Alliance Conquest battle several times in the past. We are fortunate enough to spectate this day their most recent encounter in this episode of Alliance Conquest!

The match starts out with both alliances nearly bringing identical numbers to the battlefield. MBL brings 1 more player with an even 70 while SKR brings wakka wakka 69 people to the fight. There is no numerical superiority in this match and it should not be an issue later in the game. Let's see who gets off the line first to secure those targets!

MBL are a bit faster off the line as they capture three out of the four capturable targets. MBL possess the Temple of the Mother and two of the strongholds while the SKR alliance is in possession of the Tower of the Warrior. Will these people try to swap out their locations for stronger banners?!?

MBL are able to wrest control of the Tower of the Warrior from SKR after a failed swap. Nice timing for MBL.

The ports open up and SKR takes one and MBL the other. Right now the building count is 5 to 1 in favor of MBL over SKR. Nice start to the match for MBL who can create a significant point lead if they keep this up.

MBL wastes no time and set up a series of fairly well timed rallies against the only enemy position on the map. They are able to take control of it only after their final rally smashed upon the target!

SKR are faster than MBL to Casterly Rock and take that with their first occupation points of the position. SKR are also sneaky enough to wrest control of one of the Ports from MBL. These quick two building swaps now gives SKR a slight points per minute advantage over their adversary.

The next set of buildings open up and SKR continues their offensive as they secure one of the two new buildings and also wrest control of one of the locations from the clutches of MBL who seem to have no answer to this recent offensive.

Twenty minutes into the match and MBL have a slight lead but SKR are enjoying a decent points per minute advantage. It is too early to tell who will win this match!

The match is winding down and the ports will soon open. MBL has been able to secure both of the ports at this time but failed to take Casterly Rock, even after well timed rallies. The score is within one thousand points with MBL having the lead. This is anyone's match!!!

MBL have taken a lead large enough to allow them a breather. The mines opened up and both alliances have scooped up one each. If SKR wants to win this match they need to step it up here and now.

With time running out and SKR out of options MBL can rest assured they win. The match was a back and force slugfest but unfortunately only one can be victor and today the victim is SKR. But it will probably not be the case in the next episode of Alliance Conquest!
