The late January flaying of Lord Sezu

It was late January and something was afoot in the Land of Westeros that is the scene of play for the browser game, Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming. In this story, the focus is upon the escapades of Lord Sezu, a seasoned individual and veteran of three years playing the awesome strategy game also known fondly as GOTWIC to many of its seasoned players.

Winter is a-coming and it looks bleak. There is snow on the ground in the North surrounding the Stark stronghold called Winterfell. The North remembers is a classic saying among folks of the North and it goes without saying that this particular day will be remembered by one of the members of the top alliance in K57, ACM or Acoma. Yes, ACM has finally reached that position of being ranked number 1 in their original kingdom, at last ! It only took about three years and how good does it feel to be the top alliance in a Kingdom? Amazing. Poor ACM member, Lord Sezu was zeroed emphatically by several players on a cold, fresh day in January, 2023 (Image 1).

In Image 1 above, the first attack upon Lord Sezu was by RiP alliance’s Professor X. RiP are an alliance who are constantly on the lookout for unwary players who drop their truces without realising it because they do not check their truce remaining timers frequently enough. Lord Sezu was unfortunately off-line when his timer ran out. From Image 1, it can be seen that Professor X devastated Lord Sezu significantly after his first attack where Lord Sezu lost over nine and half million in troop power leaving only a small amount of troop power left. So what wrong for Lord Sezu apart from losing his truce so that he became open to other attacks? Let’s delve a little deeper by considering the battle report above. Lord Sezu’s commanders were less powerful than Professor X’s who fielded mainly four star gold quality commanders called Seg, Leila Mormont, Leana Waters, Merrel and of course, the combat queen that everyone can get Annie. Thus Lord Sezu was facing formidable four star cavalry commanders against his gold quality commanders called Mengo, Varys (two star), Sansa, Robert and a two-star Arya. First thing to realise for Lord Sezu is that he needs work harder to evolve his commanders more and the other notable feature that can be noticed is that the main weapons need to improve too as only one gold weapon can be seen on Arya which frankly is not quite up to the appropriate standard required to fight Professor X of RiP alliance or Rest in Pieces.

Not to be undeterred, Professor X was not overly happy with that outcome. Professor X decided to put in the ultimate attack that every player in the browser game fears, to be zeroed or in more apt words, a player loses all his troops. Lord Sezu was about to be given the flaying of his life when Professor X pounced upon him again and demolished Lord Sezu, once and for all. Professor X chose this time to send elite cavalry only numbering over eight hundred thousand, a massive army in a cavalry-spearman formation which totally wiped out poor Lord Sezu. Lord Sezu’s ultimate embarrassment was now actualised and it was time for Lord Sezu to consider his next performance improvements that need to be made as quickly as possible. Lord Sezu will rise again and maybe next time Professor X comes knocking at his castle door, Lord Sezu will be the victor instead !
