Siege of Winterfell! NbE against WTF

Peasants and Trolls I have assembled us together this day so that we may discuss a very important matter. Driveways and parkways... why do we park in driveways and drive in parkways? Get back to me with that answer. Until that time let us discuss the recent Siege of Winterfell match between NbE and WTF. NbE had fought a tough match against N30 and come out on the short end of that event. WTF are not known for their AC ability but they are well known for their toughness in the Siege of Winterfell arena. I believe NbE has their work cut out for them this day but WTF must play their best if they wish to win this match of Siege of Winterfell!

WTF comes into the match with a 6 player numerical advantage over NbE. WTF 91 to NbE's 85. Too early to tell if this slight number difference will help WTF in the long run. NbE had a similar numerical advantage against N30 and N30 were still able to come out with the victory.

WTF and NbE have similar game plans. They both go for the Armory. WTF changes up a bit and pushes hard on the east side of the map and are able to secure the Hot Spring relatively quickly as they continue onward into NbE territory.

The WTF success on the east side was short lived as NbE pushes a counter offensive on that side and now all the positions on the east side of the map are up in the air. While NbE launches their counter offensive WTF are able to win the battle at the armory and seize that position for themselves.

Fifteen minutes into the match and WTF have a slight points advantage over NbE who are being pushed back on the map to their spawn point. WTF are demonstrating their Siege of Winterfell prowess as they bully NbE back to their spawn point and capture all points along the way. WTF are now moving the Winterfell resource package to the drop off point to accept those delicious points.

The match is halfway over and WTF have a firm lead over NbE. NbE has launched a counter offensive and have retaken the Armory and several other locations and are contesting the Hot Springs as well. If NbE wants to win this match they will need to contest the Winterfell Resource package delivery and drop a few of them off of their own.

Twenty minutes remaining in the match and the WTF lead is now secure and their victory in the event is all but certain. There is really no way for NbE to overcome the nearly 40k point differential at this time. WTF doesn't relent and they continue to secure the packages at Winterfell in order to deliver them for points. WTF is playing for 80k points and to max out the possible rewards for this match. Bragging rights are also a nice thing to have against a top tier opponent like NbE.

The final score shows WTF is just shy of 100k points while NbE fail to break 20k points. This is a great win for WTF who continue to prove they are one of the best in Siege of Winterfell!
